Reborn as One: TBM Service Group and AAS Unite and Rebrand as Fnyx Group
The unification of two of Canada’s most trusted facility services brands signals a new era of North American growth and leadership
OAKVILLE, ON, June 22, 2026 – Today, TBM Service Group (TBM) and Aviation and Airport Services Canada (AAS) unite and rebrand as Fnyx Group — a bold force in facility services backed by Solaris, the group’s independently operated technology company. With deep roots, unrivalled expertise, and an ambitious vision, Fnyx is uniquely positioned to lead facility services across North America’s most essential industries including transit, aviation, healthcare, and food production.
Pronounced “phoenix,” the name tells the story. It speaks to reinvention with purpose. The deliberate transformation of proven expertise, trusted relationships and innovative technology into a single organization and recognized leader in facility services.
“Fnyx is more than a new name,” says Ravi Ramanand, Chief Executive Officer, Fnyx Group. “It is the natural evolution of who we are – an organization that combines deep operational knowledge with pioneering technology to deliver something no competitor can match. Today, we make that official.”
The rebrand is the culmination of Vision 2026, a year-long strategic initiative undertaken to determine how best to position the organization for accelerated growth across North America, while delivering deeper, more integrated value to existing clients. The result is a unified structure built for scale: TBM and AAS operations will be organized into dedicated divisions — Building Services, Sanitation Services, Aviation Services, Healthcare Services — each designed to bring focused expertise and seamless execution to the clients and communities that depend on them most.
Powering that vision is access to some of the most forward-thinking technology in the industry. Solaris, an independently operated technology company, brings proprietary innovations to the Fnyx Group partnership and beyond, including the Lytbot UV disinfection robot and the Feedbick intelligent washroom management system, tools that are already redefining how critical facilities approach health, safety and operational efficiency.
Caroline Harduwar, President and Chief Governance Officer, explains that uniting the company’s operations will better align their resources more effectively, while giving them the ability to scale more widely. “At the same time,” she notes, “we will always work with the sense of ownership, accountability and personal touch that characterizes a family-run business.”
Fynx Group’s ambition is grounded in a track record that speaks for itself. For over more than two decades, the organizations that form Fnyx Group have earned the trust of some of Canada’s most prominent clients including Pearson International Airport, the Toronto Transit Commission, the Toronto Public Library, George Brown College and Sheridan College, to name a few.
TBM grew to become one of Canada’s largest and fastest-growing facility services providers, while AAS, was born to deliver passenger mobility services and asset management at Toronto Pearson International Airport and will be expanding its footprint to Calgary International Airport. Together, they bring a depth of experience that few can rival.
With more than 3,000 staff members, a growing national presence and an ambitious eye on markets beyond Canada’s borders, Fnyx Group steps into this next chapter not as a newcomer, but as a proven operator with a new vision, and the talent and the technology to deliver on it.
“The facility services industry is ready for a company willing to set a new standard,” says Ramanand. “Fnyx is that company. A new era begins today, one that is built on decades of putting the safety, care and satisfaction of the people we serve above all else. We are just getting started.”
